POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Motor Vehicle Operators regularly drive any of a variety of motor vehicles including automobiles, buses, trucks and wheelchair vans in order to transport people, material, and equipment as required.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
o Drives a variety of motor vehicles, both on and off State property, in order to transport people, material and equipment, as required. o Moves and carries cargo onto and off operated vehicles. o Tends to routine maintenance of vehicle operated (changes oil, tires, spark plugs, and checks fluids and fills when needed, etc.). o Bus driving o Moving (Office and Residential) o Transporting supplies, equipment, etc o Operate heavy equipment o May operate and maintain motorized equipment in support of maintenance, grounds, or other areas as needed o Shoveling, snow plowing, grass cutting and campus grounds work

Salary Range:
From $33631 to $41555 Annually
Minimum Qualification

Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a New York State driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle to be operated. Candidates may be required to possess a CDL Class B license with Air Brake Endorsement and Passenger Endorsement. TRANSFER
Qualifications:
At least one year of permanent service in a title eligible for 70.1 transfer pursuant to Civil Service Law OR currently serving in the title of Motor Vehicle Operator. PREFERRED
Qualifications:
o Candidates will be expected to demonstrate and will be evaluated against the following criteria:
o Must be very organized and comfortable working in a dynamic environment o Candidate must be able to provide good customer service and the ability to work in a team environment. o Candidate must be able to understand and carry out written or oral instructionsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
