Procurement Analysis Manager
ER Associates is recruiting for a Procurement Analysis Managerthatwill act as a key cross functional team member to support the company's initiatives. This role secures supply needs at the best price, highest quality, service and delivery through approved sources of supply for the specified category. As the Procurement Analysis Manager, you will lead initiatives to improve costs, reduce materials, review quality and performance of our supply.
Responsibilities
Plans sourcing of goods and services to support manufacturing and operations strategic plans at the plant level.
Heavy market analysis, cost modeling, financial risk management / hedging, forecasting/planning
Complies with and executes purchasing strategy in accordance with policies and procedures.
Issues purchase orders in response to material requirements established by manufacturing operations.
Implements agreements for local procurement of goods and services.
Maintains supplier relationships to ensure we obtain best quality, delivery and price for goods and services.
Identify and execute purchasing initiatives and others for cost improvement, material reduction, and quality.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree required. MBA strongly preferred.
Minimum 4-5 years of strategic sourcing purchasing or financial analysis experience with a background in CPG strongly preferred.
Solid business acumen and strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Ability to establish and maintain priorities in order to complete assignments by deadlines without detailed instructions.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint with outstanding data structuring skills. General proficiency with MS Word
Excellent interpersonal skills with positive, customer-orientation combined with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced, deadline driven and extremely rapidly changing environment.
Highly motivated, self-directed and operates with minimal supervision while being highly collaborative.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
