SAP S4 PP/QA Functional Analyst

The Functional Consultant will be responsible for working alongside Information Services and Business Resources to gather project requirements and convert the requirements into solutions for the core ERP and supporting Integration systems. The ideal candidate will leverage their deep understanding of the core SAP Configuration and Design best practices to ensure success in this position.
This position can be based out of our NYC Soho location OR our ERP Project location in Norwich, NY.
The responsibilities of this position include:
Perform functional hands-on management of re-designing and/or recommending improvements, in the Manufacturing Execution, Production Planning modules with focus on SOP, MPS, Demand Planning/MRP, Forecasting, Shop Floor Execution & Controls, RICEFW objects
Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Perform requirements gathering, Business Analysis, Fit/Gap Analysis, System Testing, Documentation (FDD/TDD), End User Training.
Provide techno-functional specifications and work with ABAP/Developer teams
Perform Configuration individually with minimal supervision
Lead collaborative teams during steady state/post go-live/strategic solutions
Study and analyze different business processes related to the existing business environment of the company
Conduct gap analysis of the as-is design and development of the to-be design in accordance with a global template
Collaborate with Business teams and provide industry standard solutions
Configuration of the PP/Manufacturing module (primary) & QM module (secondary)
Analyze integration requirements and work with legacy, 3rd party software and non-SAP systems
Support all forms of Testing as executed in standard SAP platforms
Assist with End user training and prepare user procedure manual.
Provide support on SAP environment, performing triage and solving specific issues
Other duties as assigned
The requirements of this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related field preferred or Associates Degree with minimum 7 years experience in role required.
7-10 years of experience required
5-7 years of experience with the following SAP business process workstreams - Plan to Produce/Demand to Supply/Forecast to Schedule and Quality Management (PP/QM)
Candidates with experience in process-based industries such as CPG/FMCG/Chemicals/Food & Beverage/Pharma industries preferred
1 Full Life Cycle (FLC) implementation S/4 HANA/Fiori or minimum 2-3 FLCs of ECC in Materials Management (MM), Inventory Management (IM), Accounts Payables (FI-AP) & EDI Order & Shipment Management required
Strong configurator skills and familiarity with ABAP4 workbench tools required
Familiarity in working with SolMan is preferred
Strong understanding of cross functional integration in Warehouse management (WM), Materials Management (MM) & Inventory Management (IM)
Experience with hands-on configuration is a must
Minimum Travel requirements ? up to 100% during Project implementation stage & up to 50% thereafter

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
