Collateral Control Compliance - Insurance Specialist

Responsible for maintaining an efficient tracking and monitoring system for compliance regulations and credit policy related to insurance on secured collateral on Commercial, Small Business, Residential, consumer, and Home Equity Loans. Will review LDCC policy and test processes to ensure all applicable compliance regulations are being adhered to. Will generate and distribute letters to customers as well as exceptions to officers. Assists Collateral Control Department as necessary.
Education / Experience? Associate degree in Business or the equivalent of education and experience
? Four years experience in an office environment
? Previous experience working with insurance companies
Skills and Abilities? Professional phone and presentation skills
? Strong Organizational skills
? Strong Communication skills
? Excellent Customer Service Skills
? Ability to competently use supporting systems such as: Nautilus, CBS, VinTek
? Proficient in word, Excel and Power point
? Familiarity with tracking systems

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
